Green Building Rating System
Green Building movement is spreading all over the world. Buildings can be rated for their environmentally sustainable construction. Many countries adopted some form of formal green building rating system like LEED, LEED India, LEED Canada, GRIHA, Green Mark, Green Star, CASBEE, and BREEAM. One such rating system is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). This building rating system was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Spearheaded by Robert K. Watson.
